Here goes......
Drove to work and everything was working fine. Tried to start it up and it turns ok. All the idiot lights, radio, etc work. I checked the distributor and the rotor is turning, there is fire to the plugs.

Figured it was a fuel problem?? I changed the fuel filter, and fuse for the fuel pump.
Here are my questions:

The noise for the fuel pump would be near the tank, correct??? I'm hearing a whirring sound under the hood for a few seconds when I move the key to the on positon, didn't think that was the pump.

The fuel pump relay, is located under the dash board to the right of the steering column?? You can see it if you look through the park brake release handle?? If that's it, it should slip off of that T-shaped bracket??? I'm having a heck of a time taking it off and don't want to break it.

The other possibles would be the fuel sending unit or the pump itself? I've orderd the parts and from reading the DIY's should be something I should be able to do pretty easily??

Have you read the codes (if there are any)?
It may be the crank position sensor on the bell housing.
You can loosen the fuel line on the engine and turn on the ignition, to see if the pump is pumping and it would be even better, if you have a fuel pressure guage to see what the pressure is.
