Anyone fish NY for Trout,Salmon or those type of fish. After a 4 yr hiatus of not getting my NY license (I'm from PA) I finally got it again this year. I've never really fished for the bigger type fish in NY but I do want to this year. And soon of course for the browns. My one buddy fly fishes which I'd also like to do. However I don't have the right gear for that. Any suggestions on what to buy. Somewhat cheap. I'm still a rookie. Just looking for some advice really.
