I feel very fortunate to have found this community after hours of scouring the net. I have a 2004 Manual Xterra. I purchased it used this year. It was doing just fine until the last month or so. Suddenly, chaos. I don't want to give up on it, so here I am. :)

Search our maintenance forums and see if others have had the same problem/issue. If you still can't find the answers you need, then ask the club. There's enough experience on this board to build your own xterra from scratch. Of course having a licensed nissan-tech as a moderator is handy too. hahaha
