Hooked the scangauge up just now, I read about the knock sensor in previous posts and there are 2 different occasions in the computer, one is pending. And I have heard a knocking coming from the engine recently only really when its idle. Sounds like its coming from the cam. Also, P1032 02 sensor. is that caused by me leaving the fuel cap loose?

Umm, no the o2 sensor is responsible for the correct amount of oxygen in the engine. DO NOT DRIVE WITH A BAD 02. The bad 02 sensor when its bad can do 2 things, 1 is run too much Oxygen into the engine, not really bad, but u'll be wasting a lot of gas. or the o2 sensor can limit the amount of oxygen, which is dangerous, cause that will kill the engine. I would not drive on a bad o2 sensor.

well, the light originally came on when I left the gas cap loose, so i figured that was the cause.

Ok, I clered the codes, the CEL is gone, and the 02 code has come back up after taking it down to fill up on gas. However, the knock sensor still has the 2 occasions. Ive heard different stories about this stupid sensor from different people. I have warranty on this bastard, but I have $100 and want to make sure I know exactly wtf it is before I give it to the dealer lol. BTW I installed a K&N filter, niceeeeee! :)

As I just explained it. Get it into the shop ASAP. don't drive the car. unless u want to risk the engine dying.

The engine won't 'die' from a bad oxygen sensor.

And you'll find on here that almost every person has a knock sensor code stored in their X. Except me for some reason.
