X'dmyJeep 03-23-2006, 09:50 PM Have an '06 4x4 automatic X model... it does NOT have the Dana 44...how strong is this other axle...and can anyone tell me spline count, c-clips or no c-clips... will 33" tires be too big over the long term?? I do not know any of the specifics on the axle, but I have an email in to the local dealer service guy to see if he knows. It will be stong enough to handle 33's without a problem though.
