Alright folks, the time has definitly come to change the timing belt and all its "little friends"(water pump, etc.)

Ive decided to go ahead and let the stealership do the work. Now, heres my question. Does $900 seem fair(for a dealership). That price includes, the timing belt, power steering belt, AC belt, fan belt, water pump, timing belt tensioner, cam seals and the labor.

Are any of those parts unnecessary?

Any pointers?

Thanks friends.:)

Does your quote include the water pump and timing belt tensioner?

If not think about it, your total would be $758 without those parts. Thats only $152 left for them. IF thats the case(I stress IF) its really not that bad(especially for a stealership)

If not, well, we all know the rest of that...........

PS - I should note that I don't HAVE to take it to the dealership. Its just that so far, all signs are pointing that way.

458 was for the timing belt, water pump, tensioner and thermostat

timing belt alone was 345...

Agreed, $900 seems high. Do it your self. You can do it! :)
