Obviously, I can see the plastic clips holding the top of the grille on under the hood, but whats holding the bottom on? More of those? I am going to have the grille painted body color and cant get down in there to see whats attaching the bottom portion.

Everything is completed now, I have the pics below in my last post. Thanks for the help!

nothing really. There's just about four little plastic snap thingys that go through slots to hold them in. Push the snap thingy down and push it through the slot. lol Real technical explanation there I know, but I can't think of an easier way, I'm too tired. Will see if I can find a pic of one off.

If I remember correctly there are 4 more of those clip that hold the bottom on. Total pain in the A$$ to reach. Once you get the top clips you can pull towards you (Light but firm) on the upper corners of the grill next to the lights. There is a clip on each side that snaps into the grill support. This will give you just enough room to stick your hand down the back to pop up and pull the clips holding the bottom down.
*** Be careful when pulling towards you. If you pull it back too far it will snap the clips or crack the lower lip of the grill where the clips go into.

You can see the lower clips if you shine a light down the gap where the hood latch is.
Hope this helps

Here is the finished product. I painted it myself rather than having it profesionally done because I do drive the X off road sometimes and didnt want have an expensive paint job ruined quickly.
I just used duplicolor universal black and clear coat. 4 coats black, 3 coats clear. I also painted the lower portion behind the license plate, I just used duplicolor for plastic on that, no clear. It rained lastnight to the pieces are a little dirty in the pics.
