i want to hear if anyone has seen improvments with a tbs. i know i know mostly everyone will say it does nothing or little for the x. but on the frontier forum there have been people who did put them in and noticed some difference.

Okay im sure if you are referring to the WRP technologies throttle body spacer. That is the only one getting any buzz over there...
In my opinion, they arent going to do anything for you. The guy who makes them posted all sorts of dyno tests, and numbers... but you have to remember, he is trying to sell you a product.
TBS's dont do anything for modern engines.

not true. my friend has a 2002 dodge ram and you can tell a difference with it. i want to see if it worked for him. guys on the frontier club claim they notice something. same setup as the x. if it doesn't work on the injected motors then why would a big compainy like airaid and helix make them?
i just have beeen hearing two stories with it.

the point of the tbs is to speed up the air coming into the engine. how would this not work on a modern engine. and if it doesn't work then why would people keep bying them. and companies keep producing them. i have heard alot of people who have them say they give a small differnece including a friend. i dont get i.

Because there are quite a few people that buy into what these companies are selling.
While you're at it put a TornadoAir (http://www.tornadoair.com/) into your intake duct work.

I will be doing a dyno test on my X with a TBS.. Currently I have my baseline with my X (see sig for details) now once I get the TBS put on I will be seeing what the real information is....
