Ok so first i sunk my 2004 x in a mud hole with water , i got it towed out and it ran till i got it home , but i try and start it now (with a boost) and it will sputter ,when i put it in gear it just boggs out and dies, its a manual as well please help. Head scratcher.

Take the MAF Sensor out and clean it with cleaner. Don't touch the element inside the sensor. The sensor sits on top of the air cleaner tube and held in with 2 screws. Try that and see if that works.
