I,m picking up my 02 SC wednesday. I think the SC rim diameter is 17" but I do not know what the rim width is. My X is getting a 2" BL , 3" SL, 33" tall tires.
Do I need wheel spacers or different offset rims. Does somebody make a 33" for that SC rim? Thanks C

When you get your X, look inside the driver's side door frame and there is a sticker there with all the vitals on it. I'm thinking the S/C is a 17" x 8" rim (mine are on my '04) but its always good to doublecheck.

You do NOT want wheel spacers unless you want to do some trimming. You want the rims to stay as close to the stock backspacing as possible (unless you actually do want to trim). The stock BS is 5.5" but I know a lot of people running a 4.75" BS. I mean you can put any size rim on it you want but the lower the BS is of the wheel, the more rubbing issues you are going to have.

There are a pretty good number of tires offered in the 33 x 10.50 and 33 x 12.50 for the 17" rim. James (Soccerbrace) was running 33's on his with the S/C rims. Pro Comp M/T's I believe.
