Hey I am from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada..

So the wife dragged me off to look as some slightly used 2008 Ford Escapes (ugh) on Saturday but instead we saw this black 2006 Xterra 4X4 S that was in our price range and we drove it and LOVED it so we ended up buying it right there.

It is in amazing shape, looks brand new.. I didn't do any research on it before, but my mom had an 03 Xterra and now has an Xtrail and she liked hers. It has some upgrades like the Rockford-Fosgate radio and 17" wheels (I think), not sure what else - will check it out more once I get it in a couple of days.. I can hardly wait to get it!! Not sure if I will do offroading or anything, I've never done that before.. Never owned any sort of SUV or truck before either..

and then if you ever modify it to help you affroad you will be hooled to that too

^Funny you say that Drake. I was in the market, but not for X's. One day at work we drove by a lot and there it was. I literally thought to myself "thats the one". I bought it 2 days later(only took that long b/c of paper work and what not).

We were looking at CRV's, Rav4's, Escapes and the Equinox - you don't see a lot of Xterra's around here (drove by the only Nissan dealer in my city and they only has 1 Xterra on the lot) so I didn't really even consider them.. but since the more boxy redesign of the Xtrerra and the Pathfinder came along I've always LOVED that style.. I even like the Honda Element.. err not so much the Scion xB - which is not sold in Canada anyhow.. Anyways, we just walked on the lot and passed by a bunch of Nissans (Muranos, Pathfinders, etc. ) and they had this 1 Xterra that just popped out at us.. I was surprised I didn't even have to talk the wife into it and she really liked the look of the 2008 Escape, she fell in love with it as well..

I've never been so excited about a new vehicle before, can't wait to drive it again!!
