bubbacharles 03-16-2008, 11:04 PM hey guys whats up i have a 2004 x 4x4 and was playing in the mud and water today for a while and my check light came on so i took it to a place to see what it was and it said code P0103 which is MAF or VAF but the car dont run bad or anything could i just have go it wet or some thing let me know thanks Drake 03-16-2008, 11:14 PM You may have gotten some debris (mud, water etc) on the small elements in your MAF sensor. You can unplug it and check to see if you can see anything in it and clean it. That could clear it up. Give it a few minutes and some more guys will respond here shortly to either back me up or tell me to shut up. hahaha Oh and you can clean your MAF sensor with alcohol and a q-tip but be EXTREMELY careful. I say go to an auto parts store and pick up a can of MAF cleaner. It's about $5 and will last you for a long while. Definitely good to have if you spend a lot of time offroad. soccerbrace 03-17-2008, 12:44 AM Get the MAF stuff. Pull your sensor and pull the plug. Spray some contact cleaner on the plug and use connector protector. Next, use the MAF cleaner and FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS.
