Let me state this upfront... I am NOT trying to get more authority.

From a member that does a lot of reading, is it possible for someone to go through the threads and include added posts/links into the original D.I.Y. thread instructions?

Example: The 2" body lift, while the instructions are great, user friendly and informative , there are 2 additionally added links several pages in that explain/help with problems that were not encountered by the author. If the reader doesn't bother to read all the additional pages past the author's instructions and/or fails to click the links on the additional pages, they will encounter at least 1 problem that the obvious/easy fix is actually the worst thing to do.

I understand this is a pt/voluntary site for most. What I'm suggesting will be time consuming and thankless. However, I think in the end the CX user community will appreciate it although they most likely will never notice the difference.

Just a thought.

Yea, I understand your concern because it is a problem. I have a few How-To's myself I need to do that exact thing for. It would be better IMO to have the OP's modify their How-To's. Maybe we could put out a site announcement asking for that as a start and go from there. BUT since you volunteered..........lol.......

HAHAHAHA...ya, open mouf insert foot... lol. I don't mind doing this if that's what it would take. I'm all about the K.I.S.S. method. If the powers-to-be say so and agree we can talk.

I have put a question out to the moderator staff to see what they think. We'll go from there.

IMO the first step should be adding all the how-tos to the master list. I struggle to find the simplest, most common DIYs like thermo control amp, LBJ replacement, and fan motor resistor.
