this is my first post here and i have a question that has probably been asked a million times. does anyone know if a 285/75/16 will fit on stock rims with out rubbing. i have a 2" spacer lift in front and deaver aal's on the back. wanting to upgade the tires soon so figured this is a good place to ask before finding out the hard way.

The 2nd gens (I'm assuming that's what you have when you said "spacer lift") supposedly can run up to a 33" tire without any modifications and the 285 comes out to a 32.8" so you should be good to go.

Maybe a 2nd genner can back me up on this but I don't think you will have any trouble.

On the 2nd gen you will have to do the "melt mod" for the 285's. It's easy though.

Get a knife and cut it, like a man!

There is just a little bit of rub on the inner fender well. The Melt Mod will solve the problem.
You only notice the rubbing when you are close to full lock in the wheel.
