Got this info from a post from AZ Ted over at AZXC. Keep your eyes open if you're in the area. Jeeper missing since 19 July.

I got a text message from DZRT X about a local offroader that has been missing since 7/19/2011. He has a 2010 Red Jeep Rubicon 2-door. Here is the link to the VJC thread:

EDIT:

Yea, I'm worried about the length of time he's been missing.

Wow, what a sad story. I didn't read through the 30+ pages on the forum link, any idea as the cause of death?

Something was mentioned about not havin his medication but i'm not sure. Thats a horrible way to go. I would never go out that far from civilization on my own. Just not smart.

Yeah, I saw that on page 4. He was diabetic and also was taking anti-seizure medication.

Yea, just shocking. I'm bewilderment why he went off on a whim all alone.

wow that sucks, and is surprising that he did go off alone and not even tell anyone... very sad.

That's a terrible end for this story. I feel awful for his wife and son.

With any luck though this story will make others who were considering venturing off alone think twice; or at least leave more prepared and let their friends and loved ones know where they're going to be.

The more pieces of info I get on this story, the more shocked and mystified I become. It doesn't even come close to making any sense.

Doesn't make any sense at all, unless he went there to die.

Sad indeed.

My assumption is that is exactly why he went off alone. Those illnesses have driven people to suicide.

Diabetics can do some crazy shit when they're blood sugar gets funky. A buddy of mine was out riding his tractor at 3 in the morning for unknown reasons, passed out, hit a tree and he fell off. Lucky for him the tree was strong and didn't let the tractor keep going. the drive wheel ground on his arm and shoulder a bit but all in all he was ok.

So, did his blood sugar levels being out of wack cause him to go out a 3 AM?
