Wow, I never thought of it like that, the grill guard came with the truck when I purchased it from Nissan so Ill look into removing it.

Yeah the b'guards are pretty much just for looks and make people wanting to pull out in front of you think twice. lol I would ditch mine but I just don't have anywhere to put it and I've got my KC's mounted to it. It's days are numbered though.. just not sure how many.

The rig looks good. Get a little mud on it and it will look great! hahaha

A PML is a great first mod. Relatively easy to do, cheap and only takes about 2 hours. Of course I'm factoring in my smoke breaks into that timeframe. hahaha

I had a Lady rear end my 2002 X and she had a B-Guard. We pulled over and at first look the B-Guard just pushed in and put a small dent in the hood and broke the head light. As I was walking around her CRV I asked if she had had another accident before this one. She said "No" and then I pointed out that I can see from one side of the car to the other through Her bent up hood.
That B-Guard pushed the hood so far back that it bent up in the middle of the hood so you could see the engine with the hood closed. LOL

I came out of that with scratch on bumper and the plastic side panel
