Yep, I take delivery on the 21st! Got most of the options and now I need an IPOD and upgraded cell! Am I a :sucker: , yes, to a degree. Do I care? No, because last new daily driver was 16 years ago! Thinking of all the great times I had in that Amigo was well worth more than the price of it. The X will be the same way because I'll get every cent out of it.

Woo-frickety-hoo!

So who do I get a call from after signing the deal? My Seahawks ticket agent! Anybody got spare change? :angst-big: lol Nah, it's all good!

And it's blue! And tall like me! I dare say it's about as tall as my boss' F-150. And it's aggressive! And I haven't even seen it yet! What a dork I am! :)

That's awesome. You're gunna have to wait for 'em to do a new car prep on it. You'll go berserk by the time they handed it over to you!

That's awesome! I know exactly how you feel as well although mine isn't new. It's new to me! It was my first vehicle to buy that I actually wanted instead of what I actually needed or could afford. I wasn't even in the market for a new ride when I found this one and I said "where do I sign?" hahahaha

Bezerk, you're right! That's my regular day off so I just planned to do a recon mission, complete w/ camo face paint and night vision goggles and wait in the woods across the street until I see the truck drive up, then casually walk over like it's a coincidence.

That would be hilarious...but I'll try to contain myself and wait for their call. lol

No, I meant that when I park next to my boss' F-150 at work, the Xterra might be taller than it. I'm 5'11" and standing next to the OR model on the lot yesterday made me feel kinda short. At work I will be sandwiched between the F-150 and an ugly H3.

ah I thought I found a fellow boss owner...id take an xterra over an h3 any day. I think hummer ruined their name with the h3...it use to be rare to see a hummer...now 16yr olds are driving them around

I agree on the H3..aren't they on Suburban frames or something? My nephew has one, a 5 cylinder no less. If I was to get a Hummer, it'd be an H1, now THOSE are still amazing!

No Boss here, sure wish my Mustang was though!

So...what IS an F-150 boss BTW?

I know when the H2's first came out, they were on the standard GMC 1500 chassis. And knowing GM, their designs probably haven't evolved that much. Man I really hate bashing American made but they are just generating crap nowadays.

Did you know that when the H2 was first released, it was released as a GMC? At it's debut, the overall response was that it was too pricey for that name plate and drew no interest. So it was brought back in and the Hummer name was slapped on it and reintroduced and the reviews went off the charts. How pathetic is that?

The know-it-all is going to chime in:

The front uses a modified GM 2500-Series utility frame, the mid-section is all new and is completely boxed, and the rear section uses a modified GM 1500-Series frame which is upgraded for the 8,600 pound (3629 kg) gross vehicle weight.

Wow... so they did actually upgrade the design. I know when I saw the H2 in it's debut, I was a bit irked when they told me about the chassis it was riding on. I told the guy "man it has an axle!!! No hummer has an axle!" That's when he chose to enlighten me.

Either way... point is null and void to me... I have a friggin' X!

Yes, we can be happy with our Xs, leave the H2s and H3s for the pretentious types. ;) But......I would take an H1 if someone were to give it to me!
