Hello all!!

I am trying to find a cold air intake for my X. I can find them for the 6 cyl but ot the 4 cyl... any ideas

i know its for the frontier, but its basically the same ehicle, then engine and bay should be no different fron the xterra

Am I wrong? Does the Sentra have the same engine?

sentra is available with a 1.8 or the 2.5 out of the altima
im not sure about the new new sentra, but the 2000 to 06 were either 1.8 or the 2.5 in the se-r and spec v
the ka24 was used in the 240 and the 90s altimas and frontiers

Looks like you have an e-9233 filter from K & N. I recommend you put that on and plug some resonators

those and the altimas had the ka24e not the ka24de

Yeah the early U31 Altimas and D21 Hardbodies had the SOHC KA24E.

The set-up in the link Ricer posted should be fine.

There are no resonators for the 4cyl like with the 6 cyl its strait through from the left fender

You mean your KA24DE isn't set up like this?

the intake does not draw air from inside the fender

Do me a favor, get a good picture of your intake and I will fix something up for you on Microsoft paint

Ok so what i was saying is there arent any like the 6 cyl. That box is mostly just an elbow to the fender with a empty box attached to the bottom of it

That right there is pretty much the definition of a resonator.

Look at piece 16577A- does that run into the fender?

What did you wind up getting, because I am in the same situation. '04 4cyl. And what performance increase did you get?

wait...X's came with 4 cylinders? hmmm this is news to me. i thought they only came with the n/a and s/c vg33. said you already got one but was about to say weapon r makes one for the ka24.
