New Member saying hello.

How do you replace your turn signal and running light bulbs on a 2003 SE?

Welcome to CX!

I haven't had to change mine yet so I can't help you there but somebody in the club will chime in and let you know.

Post some pics of your rig!

Welcome to the club.

In 5 years of owning my first X, I never had to change a front turn signal bulb but I think those won't be too bad. You may have to remove the battery though if it's on the passenger side but I could be way off here.

The backs you have to unscrew the whole rear light assembly and pop it off. Be careful though you can break the damn thing. Mine was a little tough getting out.

Those white running lights on the front are another story. I had one go out and I couldn't get at it. I heard nightmares about getting to those. Sorry, I know that wasn't much help.

acutally, james/soccerbrace figured out you cant get to them easily thru the fender/wheel well

welcome to the club!
and here ya go

from james:
Alright...So I know the easier way now.

First you have to go through your fender. That light bulb is accessed in between the inner and outer fender.

1-pull off that fender trim above the tire

2-yank the splash gaurd off of the wheel well

3-reach, and twist

4-replace, replace, replace

cool? Much easier and you do not have to pull off the bumper and the grille.
