your reputation is shown by the small green squares in the top right of every post you make, hover the mouse over and it gives you a little title representing how much rep you have

you can give positive or negative rep points to a post by clicking the balance thing in the very top right of the post
see a good post, give the poster some rep
see a post you think is offensive, or innapropriate? give the post negative rep

Just wanted to bump this thread back up. I'm seeing a lot of members giving good advice and helping others out and I just want to make sure that we are giving them the points they deserve.

For the new members, in the upper right hand corner of each text box, there is an icon to add points to the member's reputation or take away points if that's what you feel although I discourage this personally. You can also leave a comment with the rep points as to why it helped if you want to.

Just trying to make sure people are getting the credit they deserve for helping each other out.

Yep it's completely anonymous unless you leave a comment to the poster. That is the only way they will know who gave the points. I actually got a negative rep posting for welcoming a guy to the club. lol Won't say who it's from but they haven't been active in quite a while.

You DO see who gave you rep points. Go to user CP and you will see even if there is no comment.

yea you can only see your name if you leave it as part of the comment i have 2 thats have commented but no name. i uaually always leave my name cause i want the person to know that i appreciate what they are doing for us!

Yeah, I have noticed that some of my reps dont have any names left but Justin's for the How to section. Kudos to him for doing that to keep me from wonderin' who did it, lol.
