Very nice! I love the Cooper S. I see you got the JCW package; is it engine and suspension? I drove a previous gen Cooper S JCW and the suspension was rock hard and very uncomfortable. I mean, the Cooper S Sport suspension was no slouch, so If I'd ended up getting one I don't think I'd have sprung for the JCW. But the JCW engine package would have been nice.

On a related note, I saw my first Mini Countryman yesterday. It's not exactly what I'd call mini.

Thanks! Yea, I'm not the biggest fan of the Countryman either, they did a weird thing with the Cooper S/JCW this year. The JCW is a completely different model (bigger engine and turbo). I got the JCW Package on a Cooper S, so Cooper S engine and suspension, JCW Aerokit, JCW Wheels, red stitched steering wheel, Dynamic Traction Control with Electronic Differential Lock Control.

I wouldn't mind getting a JCW Tune Kit from the dealership when they become available for the 2011 S, that includes CAI, JCW Exhaust, and an engine tune


I still can't wait to go out and find some windy roads though! (The kind that would make me s**T my pants driving the X!)

I forget which episode in season 4 or 5 (think 5 and an early episode) of top gear they compare the mini works and two or 3 other tuner versions. Pretty sweet setups (I forget which one was pushing 205-210 HP)

While I love Zs... I don't think they're really a DD, the Cooper S has the best of both worlds in my opinion, can't beat being able to do 0-60 in 6 seconds and still get 37 MPG on the highway.
