Finished my 2" BL today. I'm exhausted. Did the majority of the work myself and hit a few snags that seem to be unique to my X for some reason. But got it all pieced back together and I have a few bugs to work out tomorrow but it's up and running. Here's a few pics:
The brushguard actually looks better IMO now, eventhough it's days are numbered. And I have a new idea for my KC's I'm going to experiment with in the coming week.

My other helper said I had to title this shot "Who's your daddy bitch!?"

I've got a small issue with the rear bumper and I've got to trim my tranny hump so I can shift to 4-lo. Outside of all of that, it went pretty smooth.

Man that looks good! Congrats....
Can you post some pics of the inside? I am curious how that looks. Also, is their any mods to the fan, fan shroud, etc?

This is my interior. It's the two-tone black and gray leather package.

I just had to remove the lower half of the fan shroud. It was no problem.

Dang that interior is sharp! Wish my X had that. Of course, it may not have been quite as flood resistant. So does the body lift mean you'll be getting bigger tires?

Nice interior...I was also curious about the gear shift after a BL. I assume the gear shift and 4wheel drive lever is just really short looking now?

It is not too bad actually. A lot of people prefer it. I am indifferent. Some people enjoy the extra room to access the storage slot. Others get somewhat annoyed with the excess boot making it harder to shift sometimes.
Drake, great job bro! You must have studied up! Didn't even get a phone call! You the man! :udaman:

Only the t-case shifter sits lower and it's not too bad other than what james said about it being a little more difficult to shift because of the extra material bunched around the shifter.
And once I get my employment status straightened out then yes I am going with 33's. Those are just the stock 30.5's right now.
Thanks for the comps guys!
Just and edit/update:
My X is fully operational now. The bumper is locked down tight, the body mounts are snug and the tranny hump has been trimmed so I can use 4-lo again.
It is 10" shy of the roof rack touching the eave of my buddy's house and pulling into his garage is completely out of the question now. That's friggin' awesome!

Ok... finally got off my ass and got the pictures some of the members were asking about.
Here is the back bumper view with the trailer hitch. You can see where I had to notch my bumpers to fit around the frame rails. Did it with a hacksaw and then used channel locks to fold the tab down and it kinda hid the frame rail. Very "backwood engineered" but it did the trick.

Here is the top view of the shifter/console:

And the view from the side. You can see the difference in the t-case shifter but it's really not awkward or too difficult to shift. I had to trim a 2" square from the tranny hump to be able to reach 4-low.

Thanks for the props guys and hope this answers some of your questions and concerns. The whole body lift is a breeze with the exception of the rear bumper that you have to finaygle quite a bit.

Looks very good drake. It maybe asking to much, but did you take any pic's while you were doing it? was just wondering...

I didn't but there is a good "how-to" sticky here on doing it and it has some helpful pictures. I didn't even use the instructions that came with the kit (of which was/is a waste of money). Take that back... I did use the instructions... to start a fire in the chiminea to keep me and my buddies warm while we installed it... hahaha.
The body lift is really simple to do actually. It's tedious and will take you a little time but it's no problem until you get to put the rear bumper back on. Now that was a PITA! You don't need to be a master technician to do it.
Oh and as far as the kit goes... don't buy one. Go with the DIY $65 kit James has posted around here somewhere. It will save you a lot of money and you aren't left with a bunch of crap you don't need or won't use.
