Well I have my rock sliders, and today thanks to Nox and my wifes cousin I have my skid plates. I came home to find them in the garage. I will try to put them on tomorrow along with paint my rims. Is there anything I should do before I bolt these things on look for anything tighten anything change anything? I have a full set of skids to so I dont want to get these things up and then have to take them down for something that could be done now. I am going to check the torque on the body mounts, and shackles, but I cant torque the shocks bolts they seem to just keep turning before I get it to the pounds per inch.

If you have any fluids to change now is the time, transfer case, tranny, diffs, oil. They are all a lot easier to do before the skids go on.

yeah I am going for a oil change in the afternoon.
Here is a good question, whats the order for these skids to go on? there was a thread but the pics are gone and there is no info.

I only bought 2 cans of paint to see if I would like the color so one plate isnt paonted and the others have only one coat so I will pick up 3 more and finish them off. I hope you like them.

looks good. if ur doin it right u'll need to repaint them often. as far as tghe shock bolts.. there should be either a allen key hole in the end or possibly a way to hold the rod with pliers.. the bolt end.. not the rod that goes in to the shock body. you'll have to use a crows foot type of wrench attatchment for the torque wrench

great there are no directions so I am going to try to finish painting them tomorrow and mess around with them.
