My 2000 Xterra, 4x4, has a smell when we come to a stop like it's leaking radiator fluid. The t-stat housing as dried, flakey radiator fluid leakage but I don't see any dripping.... It has only 50k miles on it.

Any help is appreciated.

Additonally, the lower radiator hose is cold the upper is hot.
