Anyone know of a good campsite in the md va pa area that you can offroad to? Like hop in a couple 4x4 lead by my xterra ofcourse and drive to a campground pretty remote but not to crazy

Well, the most convenient is Rausch Creek.

It IS an off road park (A really really GOOD ONE), and, it has FREE CAMPING (Primitive).

There are more conventional camp sites nearby though (With bathrooms, utilities, etc)

YES.

The trails are color coded...Green for stock trucks....and there's miles of Green.

They have maps there too (Free) which show the trails and have descriptions.

You can drive for days on just green trails there, and have a blast.



They ALSO have Blue rated trails for stock rigs with better DRIVERS, or, better equipment, etc...and Black rated trails for those with some armor and larger tires AND better drivers, and Red rated trails for better equipped rigs AND better drivers AND zero concern for damage.

Check out Greenridge State Forest in western Maryland. Miles of trails (mild) and primitive camping. Park at the camp site.
