How do I show appreciation for help given by another member? Prop points or something?

At the top of the post window, you will see an icon with a set of "scales". It is between the post # and the yellow/red card icon. Click it and it will award reputation points to the member who made the post. It also gives you an option to leave a note for the reputation which the member can see in their user control panel.

Reputation points are what gives members the green squares below their details on the right side. The more positive reputation points, the more squares. You can also award negative reputation points but we would ask that members avoid doing this. Award those deserving and overlook those that aren't. :)
