Just thought that I'd post up a little bit about myself.

Some may know me, some may not, but here goes!

I'm the Off Road Editor for Nissan Sport Magazine. I have 2 of the Project vehicles, Project Xterra Off Road and Project Frontier.

I'm a Nissan Senior Specialist Tech, ASE Master Tech (for over 15 years) and am currently a Senior Tech at 4 Wheel Parts.

I'm on a couple of pit crews, Dave Blakely for Team Xterra Racing and also for David Muramoto of Smoke and Mirrors Racing, a 5 time National SCCA champ driver.

I also like to 4 wheel, hard, and then camp wherever I break....er......stop. Colorado is good for stopping and camping in a ton of different locations. I try not to break though, the wife really hates that! She thinks it's the old "Awe, look honey, we're out of gas!" trick.

I love to play in Moab. I love the mountains, long walks on the beach, hot tubs......

Anyway, that's me. Here's my Xterra, I call her the PhoeniX.

And my Frontier, no name, just a work horse!

Anyways, thought I'd introduce myself. I'd heard of you guys, thought I might come on over and join the fun!

Thanks guys! Yeah, those vids are of me.

The pic was taken before the exhaust was modified to fit the drive shaft. The front and rear axles are full width Bronco units. I now have a shaft in it, running Tom Woods Super Joints for the off set angles they allow.

I've got 12.5" of total movement at the shocks in the front. I still have to modify the rear crossmember to allow more droop in the rear. But she's flexy though! I can't wait to get to goneMOAB this year try out Pritchett.

Welcome Home.

You're a RONIN guy, right? I recognize that X from some of Kevins old Cardomain.com pics, haha.

Looks just as good as it did then(if not better) assuming you are who I think you are:)

EDIT - just noticed your sig.

DOUBLE EDIT:devil-big: - Is there any way that, with enough push, Nissan offroad would get more coverage in the mag? Or even better yet, a sister mag along the lines of "4WD Toyota Owners"????? Perhaps just wishful thinking.......

I'm trying to get some more coverage in the mag for the Off Road side of Nissan. One of the goals of the mag is that eventually we will have a sister mag for us truck guys. I push all the time. I think it's my duty!

For the folks that want it bad enough, let the magazine know! Web wide, if all Nissan truck guys bought the next issue, and told the magazine that they were going to do it, then they'd see us in a whole new light.

DavidM@NissanSportMag.com would be really surprised to get a butt load of emails, followed up a butt load of issues sold!
