So one of my lights on the X was out, I stoped at Wal-Mart and got lights. They where for a 2001 Nissan Xterra. I got home and tried to put them in and woulden't work. They are 9007. I returned them thinking I grab the wrong ones. So insted of getting another i went to Andvance Aduto and looked at thier books. Found out that there are two different types of bulbs for the 2001 x. A first model and a second. the second models are 9007 and the first are 9004. Thought I might say something so others know.

the new light plugs i bought for my pathy were 9004/9007 so i think the diffrenct is the way you hold them in place.....

that is the diff

I think that there was a typo in the owner's manual
