Hi I have a 2003 Nissan xterra Which I planning on putting 35s on next month.. I currently have a 2003 xterra Se-sc fully reinforced steering system and a 2inch body and 3inch suspension lift... I'm currently using stock Se 17 inch rims I'm planning on running BFG m/t 35/12.5/17... Can I get away with just bumper trimming and minimal behind from fender trimmin? Also heard something with the brakes must be relocated to fit? This car is my daily driver so I do need the full range to turn with .. I live in Florida so I will be doing mostly mudding on flat surfaces no need for any real flexing just in an put of mud pits.. Thanks,Kris ...

you will have to trim about a 1/4-1/2 inch behind front wheel and that same amount in front and behind rear tire. I cut multiple slices (sawzall or dremel) and a big hammer and just bent it back instead of cutting it out. Don't know how much in front of the tire (custom bumper). As soon as you go to a wider tire you will lose some turning radius....sorry, but you want a wider tire-that's what you have to deal with. What is a "steering enhancer kit"? You might want to get a calmini or SLR steering kit. 35's are REALLY heavy. Haven't had any problems with my brakes other than going through pads faster due to stopping a heavier rolling mass.
