I did a search and could not come across the correct answer to my question.
I'm going to be putting a generic muffler on my X and I'm trying to find out what the exhaust ID and OD are before and after the muffler. I'd rather know what it is before I go and cut the muffler off to figure it out. :)
Has anyone made their own system like this on here before? Any input?
Thanks in advance!

I saw that thread, but I thought that the SC edition had larger piping. Is it the same size?
Thanks!

I just cut out my stock muffler and replaced it with a small glasspack, and made up the length difference with 18" of 2.25" exhaust piping.

that isn't that much of a difference... and i found it on the second page of the search results a few threads below the previous posted one....

Oh, right on, thanks.
That's probably 2.25 inner diameter right?

that i would not know..... but just take a tape measure and wrap around the pipe and see what it says.....

It`s 2 1/2" in and out on the `06 too.Wrapping a tape around the pipe will give you the circumference not the diameter!

hey thats my quote! ha yes na and sc are the same size pipe, 2.5" all the way back. The glasspack added some tone, but not very loud. One of these days I may cut off two of the cats and put a flowmaster on. Im sure theres an equation for the circumference to the diameter..

i know what it is... if you read the post he was asking if it was the o.d or the i.d and i told him to put a tape on it and find out........ i do alot of work with o.d. and i.d. measurement with piping in the plants......
and f150boss86 it all depends on what schedule pipe it is.... thanks for the input .... and the help in the previous thread.......
