I just bought an 07 S and i want to put true 33 x 12.5 x 16s on it. will the 2" spacers and AAL in the back work for this without doing anything else? also i want to get black wheels and was wondering what my options were for that? whether i should just paint the stock ones or get new steel wheels or something?

With the "melt mod" on a 2nd hen you can clear 285/75R16s which are basically 33x11.50 so with that lift you can defiantly clear 33x12.50s

As far as rims I'm not sure if there are too many black options for 2nd gen...that's what Iv heard at least. Painting the stock rims black looks really good tho

Iv heard a lot of good things about the PRG 2nd gen lifts so check them out if you haven't already.

ok thank you. i saw a few with the painted stock rims. i do like that but do you know approximately how much that would run me to get em painted? i can just get some cragars for about 70 a piece i think is that about right?

It all just depends on your area and what kind of local shops you have. My steelies were rusting so I took them to a guy who did some body work on the side and he painted all four for $100 and they looked better than the day I got them. If you dont know of anyone local you could paint them on your own. Most members on here who paint their stock rims do it on their own. It may sound crazy but if done right you can make it look great with spray paint as long as you do the right prep and take your time. Cragers are always a good option tho and like you said theyr inexpensive.

I'm going with painting my stock wheels and 285/75/r16 preferably from treadwright.com (retreads).
This is what I'm probably ordering:http://www.treadwright.com/p-54-285-75r16-backbone-m-t-d.aspx
after my 2"sl, (prg 2" front spacers +adjustable AC shackles at 2 1/8" setting)
if you dont know AC stands for automotive customizers/4x4parts.com
