Hello. I Am New To The Site. I Have A 2004 Xe Xterra. It Has The Stock 16 In Rims On It. I Would Like To Put On The 17 In Rims That Orginally Came On The Sc Models. Will This Swap Give Me Any Problems ? Where Is The Best Place To Buy These Rims At ? Thanks.

He's looking for the S/C style I believe.
One thing you should know is that when you go to 17" rims, the price on tires is gonna jump a good bit. I have the S/C with the 17's and I'm hoping to ditch them and go with 15's. I can get 4 Cragar Soft 8's in a 15 x 8 and 4 BFG AT KO's in 33 x 11.50 for the same price it will cost me to just put 4 BFG's on my 17's.

I don't know much about specifically Xterra's but I can tell you that you're much better off with a 15" like Drake said... not only are the tires A LOT cheaper, but there are A LOT more sizes in more brands and types available. For example, since I work in a tire shop, I looked up tires available for the 17" stock on an '02. 265/65/17. 3 Tires. Cheapest being $135.99 for everything but tax. Granted we only carry Michelin and BFG's but only 3 tires? Also, if I remeber correctly, the only numeric sizes available started at a 37x12.50x17 which was well over $250 a tire.

Another thing to consider with going to a 17" rim is you will not be able to air-down your tires as much for offroading which can lead to more punctures and rim damage.
I have found pretty good pricing and options at summitracing.com and 4wheelparts.com.
