Well, after owning various American made vehicles over the last 24 years, I finally broke down and am now in the process of purchasing a 2003 Xterra (my dad is rolling in his grave right now). She is Royal Blue in color and is the XE package with pw/pl, tilt, cruise, sunroof, vinyl seats, and all the normal stuff on an XE. She has 83,000 miles and runs great now. I have already changed the sparks plugs, and YES, #6 was a B*&CH! But thanks to this site, it only took mne about 20 minutes to get that one plug change and under an hour to do them all. I have also started the stock airbox mods. I just need to remove the outer baffle and I have already put in a K&N. Gas mileage when I first got her was only 14 or 15mpg. The plugs were shot and the gap was way to wide. Now she is back up to 18'ish around town. I probably wont do a lift on her becaus emy wife is veritcally challenged. But I do plan on some minor things. Thanks for all of the good info this site puts out.
