I just had to post a thread about my new Bilstein shocks. These are the first aftermarket shocks I have bought for ANY of my vehicles I have owned and man I didn't know what I was missing out on.
I bought the Bilstein HD 5100 series for the 3" suspension lift set at 10% above OEM. My Xterra rides like a cadillac now I swear. It rides better than any of my Hondas by far.
And offroad... wow. No backend bounce when I'm crawling over rocks. Really solid feel and smooth compression. No herky jerky wobbles like before.
Just want to say thanks to all you guys who recommended them and/or made posts about them that brought me to the decision to buy them.

Now, I'm totally confused. I just got off the phone with volrick from 4x4. He told me there is no such thing as 10% over OEM in the bilstein only 20%. So I ordered the 20% anyone running the 20's.
Or does someone have a part number for these 10% HE CAN'T FIND THEM.

Drake do you have a suspension lift or just the 2" body lift.

I have a PML and the 2" BL. That's too weird about the 10% because I swear Volrick was the one I talked to. Most everybody uses the 20% anyways so you're good to go. Maybe I was confused myself and I ordered the 20 instead. Hell I have no idea... I can't trust my memory anymore. Killed way too many brain cells in college. hahaha

Thanks man, anyway he set me up with 20% in the front and the 5100 hd stock stiffness in the rear. He said its the only way I can go. Hopefully this clears things up for others. I let you guys know how the combo turns out when I'm through.
