Hey guys what's up? Someone spotted me on 80 a few weeks ago thought I'd finally post up.

Noticed a few people from the Ohio area, when I read through the Who's in Ohio thread. Thought I'd throw this out there in case any one is interested.

Anyone ever hear of Jeep Skool? I've been going for about a year now, and it's a pretty good way to spend a weekend. Yeah, it's mostly Jeeps but it's open to anyone. And it's super kid/family friendly.

Plenty of trails for every type of rig, stock to modified. 1,500 acres in total, shooting range, camping areas (w/electric hook up) fishing ponds, plenty of mud, water, and rocks to play on.

They are only open the first weekend of every month, and the next run is April 2nd and 3rd. They are located North of Akron, in the town of Garrettsville
Here's a link to the last get together we had.

Their web site:

If anyone is interested let me know, I can get everything else rolling.

That looks awesome! I checked out the site, and this summer I think I'm going to have to register. I've been trying to find a good place in Ohio, as Kentucky and Tennessee seem to have better options, but if this is available that's tight!

Thanks for the info man

If I get my tires on Friday I may swing over, not too far from me.

Cool, I hope to see some local members. If anyone else goes I have a maroon x lifted with custom front bumper and winch.

On a tight budget right now, going to ECXC in July so have to save for that.

If you haven't allready, sign up on the Jeep Skool web site. Make sure your at the Haylett's BP at 9AM or earlier on Saturday morning-address on JS site. From there just follow the trail leaders and you'll be good to go!

I think the "fireworks" display is on Saturday. If you like guns, you'll enjoy the show! Trails are awesome! You'll have the option to go on a "newbie ride" which basically shows you the property, trails, campgrounds, etc. It's optional, or if you see the other guy up there I'll let him know and you can meet up with him.

John, where in Cleveland are you located?

John, where in Cleveland are you located?

I'm on the west side of Lakewood. Originally from Grafton, Ohio.
Not sure I'm gonna make it. I can't seem to find a place with tires in stock. The ones I have on now I will get stuck in wet grass. Totally roached! Unless I get a quick influx of money and head to Conrad's (only place that can get them in by Friday), but they are expensive!
