Hate to have to ask this, but my pics are too large( I assume) to add them to "my gallery". How can I make them the proper byte size?

I have photoshop, if that helps.

There should be a zoom in zoom out option I think that lowers the byte size not really sure

"Save as" JPG. Also drop the size down to 800x600 or less.

If you're not to photo shop savvy, just use MS paint. Open the pic with paint then select the image menu and select stretch/skew and put in something like 50% for both boxes. If you don't like the new size just select the edit menu and then select undo and start over.

Oh yea, and as suggested above, save it as a Jpg.

You can also download a free program called Irfanview that is great for this type of thing. Google will get you to the download site.

yes ifranview is the best program for this.... just go to resize and put it at the size you want......

Alright, attempted paint. Still couoldn't get it small enough. It tells me the max byte size is around 20000. If I go any smaller than it is now, its going to be smaller than a thumbnail.

I might download that prog. but if I don't have to, Id like not to.

Any more suggestions?

PS - Although, Im not a pro, Im "alright" with Phosho. I can figure it out if pointed in the right direction :)

EDIT: Downloaded "Infranview" and am having the same issue.

I have used paint to get avatars down to under 100 by 100. I sent you an email. Send me one of the photos if you like and let me see what I can do. If I can fix it I'll send you instructions back on how to do the rest.
