I’ve just been made aware that Ultra4-King of Hammers is holding qualifying races at Rausch on this Saturday.
The races will be run on the Northeast property (across the street from the parking area) from 10am until 6pm. I was not planning of running over there anyway so it does not affect me except that I might cut my wheeling day short (around 4pm) to watch some of it.

how was the day on the trails?

Kyle's friend Eric broke his rear track bar and shock, I broke a rear brake line, Mike snapped a leaf spring and Nick fried his alt. Short day, just got back from steak at o'neal's, chilling at the KOA with a cigar and a few cold ones, details tomorrow.

Like i said, a short day. It is always a good idea to wheel with guys that make their living as mechanics, even better when one of them is the most experienced guy at a Nissan dealership. Way too much to get into on every board so I wrote a long and boring post on the NEXTerra HERE (http://www.nexterra.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=5495&start=60). and you could have done that after wheeling.......

I had a great time, definitely fell in love with my truck all over again, which is saying a lot considering the hell it's put me through the past few months (even bought a white window marker and almost marked it up a few times)

And it was definitely awesome learning how to change my alternator in the RC parking lot! :)
