i just ordered 5 rims and tires from 4wheelparts and i got them in today. i put on the rear, they went on fine then i went to put my fronts on and the rims are hitting the caliper. i called them and the guy told me to grind down the caliper but that seems odd. when i tryed to put it on the side acroos from the caliper was against the disk and the side that was hitting the caliper you could only see about 4 threads. so thats not sketchy or anything its only the part that sticks out that holds the outer brake kinda looks like a m.

i shaved down that peace that is in front of the calipers. i started to look more and it looks like it has to come off but i dont think that is safe. does anyone have pics of what it looks like when they are shaved enough to fit. or am i the only one that has this problem

There have been a few I know of that have shaved their calipers to fit the RockCrawler rims. The shaving I've seen them do is just rounding off the corners of the calipers to clear. Do you or can you get pictures of where you are having contact?

yea i can get pictures when i get out of work at 530 it seams like most of the bracket is in the way

alright 4wheel parts called me back and tried find a 16'' alloy rim but had nothing available so i went up to a 17 pro comp 8089 with pro comp 33x12.5s and they took 500 off what i would have owed them so i guess it works out.
