bsheltry 02-28-2011, 09:31 PM i just installed my BL a few days ago and now the steering is tight on small turns and when i turn more like onto a different street it get normal. also when i make sharp tirns the steering wheel wont go back straight like it used to i have to do it myself. the power steering is not whining or low. Is this normal for a body lift. Im in a 09 xterra if that matters. DirtyJerseyJohnny 02-28-2011, 10:01 PM Yeah I was told by my neighbor whos a long time mechanic (if you havent read my last post) and he helps me with my weekend projects, I can't remember what he said needs to be done but he said its real easy and our generation X's have plenty of gap? Drake 03-01-2011, 06:15 AM Did you loosen the bolt on the steering shaft while you did the BL?? That would be my guess too. The steering shaft is pulling against the pump and is binding it.
