Just got first Xtera, a 2000, 125K....Love it!! Much better ride than the '98 Accord.

Have a question, though. Sometimes when driving, speedo, tach, all gauges readings drop to "0", but veh still runs and drives fine, everything works including a/c. Sounds like a wiring problem, or, worse case, the ECU??? Thanks for any advice...looking forward to tweaking it back to good condition and "dressing it up" a little...

Does it stay that way?

Welcome!

That fuse it right there under the steering column top one in the middle row.

Thanks. Anybody know the end result?? I HOPE it's not the cluster. Lights stay on, car keeps running, don't notice power loss. It does resolve itself and they start working again. Seems like it happens when they "warm up"?? I'll check the grounds......

It has to be some loose wiring. You don't have to buy a new cluster.

Ok, so if your lights stay on, then that eliminates the tail light fuse blowing which is normally caused by a short in the wiring at the towing harness or at the fog lights.

So now we have narrowed the problem. Since it is coming on, it is NOT blowing a fuse.

So now we need to know how the wiring goes from the fuse to the guages.

Check your wiring behind the fuse.

Still checking, I'll let ya'll know.
Did solve one problem--when I bought it the seat were stuck all the way back on the tracks. Dealer looked, couldn't fix, knocked $500 off--I found nickles in both tracks stopping seat--they work great now.....made another 10 cents........
