I'm getting ready to order new rear shocks and I want to make sure beyond reasonable doubt that I've picked the right ones. These say they are for Xterras with a 3" lift. Bilstein 5100 series Heavy Duty. I just want to make sure.

Not yet. Just runnin' the 1.5" PML but unless I've read wrong, they will compress to stock length.

Those will work. Drake, make sure you get the stiffness you want! (ie. OEM,10% or 20% stiffer)

Totally forgot about the stiffness. Got way excited about getting shocks. Glad I read this beforehand. Thanks James.
Think I'm going to go with the 10% because once I get the cash for new UCA's, I'm gonna do an AAL in the back too so that should be plenty stiff for me.
Now to call AC and see about getting some overnight delivery so I can get them on before I hit Coal Creek this weekend.

Righteous!! They are on their way. The guys at AC said their order processing department is closed today but they promised me that they would be at my door by Thursday. That's my kind of service

Hey Drake when you get those shocks would you measure them fully extended (center eye to center eye).........I want to see if there any longer than the articulator shocks i got from AC.
These are what i have http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/index.php3?page=shop/flypage&product_id=4229&category_id=b294e766ade8846be408971f91c56a7e&ps_session=bbb3fd6aa9456e80b67d44a2b53e865c

I almost went with that exact same Bilstein but I've seen a lot of guys on the forums and in my clubs who are running the HD Bils, so I decided to give those a whirl. When they come in, I'll get you those measurements asap.

My new Bils are 25" eye to eye at full extension if I'm measuring correctly and have them fully extended right.
