Greetings from Peyton territory!

Just signed up today. Here's my situation:

I owned a Nissan Titan for three years and it was the most fun vehicle I had ever owned. Long story short, job changed and required a 45 minute commute to work and the gas would have killed me. So, I was forced to trade her in on something more fuel efficient which is my current auto, a Nissan Altima 2.5. While it's a great car, it's a car, and I have had nothing but trucks /SUV's for the past 9 years. I'm not really happy with it right now in the winter. I feel vulnerable in any kinda weather situation.

So, I've been looking at other options for the fall. I'll be making more money by then and eventually the commute will be cut down when I can move (housing market). I'm a firm believer in Nissan now and I started looking at the Xterra. I think I'd like to have an offroad with the technology package as I have built on nissan's site. This seems like a nice vehicle, more affordable than the titan in both price and gas. I just like the rugged-ness of it.

So, I wanted to join this site because I've been on car forums for the titan and the honda pilot (pre-titan vehicle) and I know the value of research. I'll probably ask some questions as the year goes on.

Thanks!

Welcome Critter!

Do feel free to look around and ask questions. I came here about a week and a half ago as a Jeep Liberty owner interested in the Xterra, and, with the club members' help, became the owner of a 2001 Xterra SE. I'm much happier now after buying it.

Any help we can provide will make your purchase that much easier. Good luck!
