: Xterra transmission work in a Pathfinder? Crazedshifter 02-01-2011, 02:05 PM So i rolled my 03 xterra and i have the transmission and other random parts. now i found a guy selling a 93 Pathfinder with a bad tranny and was wondering of it is possible to frankennstien it or if it would go right it in what all is neeeded. Silver Dude 02-03-2011, 12:06 AM Well I know it will mount to the motor. I know it has the same transfer case. Should work in a frankennstien way. Not sure on shift control brains or whatever. But, having owned both at one time I can honestly say there is little difference. But, I've owned manual transmissions.
