: Mr. Clean washer work?

Yesterday I washed the snow and salt off of my truck with just hot water as it was too cold to do a complete detailing job. My X is black so when it dried in my garage I noticed a lot of water spots. My truck was actually spotted everywhere with them. It looked really bad. I have hard water (well water) so I know that is an issue in itself.
Anyway, I was looking at this washing system put out by Mr. Clean that says it will filter out the minerals etc which cause these spots. Has anyone any experience with this system? For $20 I may just try it.
Any other alternatives? Thanks.

I will pop my forum cherry and chime in here. I picked one of these up last year and used it a few times on my Dodge Stealth last summer. The Mr. Clean kit absolutely works. I loved the fact I didn't have to towel dry the car after I washed it. My father was telling me that the kit de-ionizes the water (just like in some car washes) or something like that and it will remove the spots. Our water in Albany NY is very hard too, but the kit really does work. I haven't even depleted the liquids that came with the kit. Definitely a good buy!

I have it, and it really does work. I would have never bought it myself, but since I got it as a gift I'd figure I'd try it. I have been using it ever since and it's great!
