Hey you guys, I just bought an 04 and since I have bought everyone of them i've seen is driven by a women. What gives? I traded my little Nissan Xcab in on it and first thing I did was put a brush guard and tail light guards on it. It seemed like a must, just to give it a little attitude. I really enjoy the X but you guys needs to represent it a little more. Maybe it is just my location but I am starting to get concerned about it. One good thing about it all the ladies love it. Where I work there are 5 in the parking lot ranging from 01-06 and everyone but mine is driven by a girl! Please help me change things up a little.

Girls or not, I think Americans in general drive more SUV's on the road than anything else. Whether you own a house, have kids, or live in a climate where it snows, it's a necessity. I was recently in San Francisco, and that was all I saw on the road there. When I asked someone why does everyone have these huge ass SUV's out there in a climate where it never snows, I was told its a fad thing out there.

I also drive a sports car and that when I notice it the most. Im sitting in traffic 3 inches off the ground and cant see anything but the bumper of the Escalade in front of me, driven by some 4.5 foot tall soccer mom, on the cellphone.

Anyways, I think a cute girl in a truck is kinda sexy. ;)

-Oh yeah, welcome to the club!

ill have to say that i dont think thats necessarily a bad thing. for example; if you go to a party would you be like "man theres too many women here, lets go somewhere with less". so say you go to an xterra meet, majority in attendance are female, making for quite an interesting meet. recently i met a girl who is quite attractive, we kinda started talkin in a parking lot walkin to our cars, she was tryin to carry something big(not heavy but large enough to make it awkward to carry) so i help her since i have a free hand and im your typical southern gentleman. we get to talkin and behold! we walk up to a "muddy as mine usually gets" yellow 2wd xterra. i kinda stopped and said "i think you are my dream girl, i pointed and said 'thats mine over there'(i was so glad i hadnt washed mine off yet as it was uber muddy after 2nd gen sams trip). i still find it hard to believe that i ran into her like that, still talk to her, we may be goin wheelin in april!!

Hey don't get me wrong, There isn't anything wrong with a girl that can pull a truck out of the mud. The ladies I have seen driving the XTERRA aren't usually the type that would get their fingers dirty. I was just making an observation. With the new xtras added on the X looks meaner than ever. The wife likes to drive it more than her Suburban because it's like a sports compared to the bus.

I don't usually see that many xterras around here, but when I do, they're often female drivers... I was actually thinking about this the other day. weird

I'm gonna take twenty pictures of Xterras as they go down the road or stopped with the obvious driver near by and we shall see what the dominant sex is (did I say that right?) anyways if you don't hear from me, I have been shot:eek:

Well I think Larry had a point, it's not looking good for men and the xterra, so far the females have the males beat by two thirds, but these observations were made during working hours, so probably the men are at work and the women are shopping, going to school and generally farting around....but I will keep keeping tabs and pics
Did I hear a "WOOT WOOT"

I am seeing a lot of middle aged women in the later models, and younger ones in the older ones(some of them are ricemans type:eek: ) and very few males....but my research is ongoing, no conclusions yet.........

(childish voice) but I don't want to drive a chick SUV.

Does it make it more manly if it smells like the gym? I can stop putting air fresheners in it.
