Quick question for you guys too...how big of tires should i get so that the spare can still fit underneath in the rear, or do you think that i should just get the rear mount?

You can fit a 285-75-R16 under the X ( roughly a 33" tire )

There are a couple guys running that under their 2nd Gens.

I still recommend going with a Shrock. Jim has some Awesome products out for our X's.
