Hello all. My wife and I just got an '07 Xterra S a couple of weeks ago. The other day the TPMS light came on. Today I checked the pressure and the tires were a little low but not by much. I got all four of them to 35psi and drove over 20 miles but the light remains on. What should I do about this? Is a trip to the dealer required? I have an '05 Titan that I have experienced the same thing with but as soon as I got its psi to the righ amount, the light went off.

The light should turn off once the tires are at the correct pressure. Maybe a quick trip to the dealership to see if everything is in order.

If the light does not turn off when the tire pressures are set then you should go to the dealer. You might hava a bad one.

the same thing is happening with me. i checked all my fuses to see if anything might have blown but nothing was that i could tell. im heading to the dealership when i have time. or you can reset EVERYTHING by disconnecting the negative. however thats EVERYTHING. i did it but the TPMS came on again not more then a month afterwards but all the pressure in the tires were correct. so i would say after all that just go to the dealer.
