oh yes, let me not forget to comment on this trip, i saw the most ridiculous mess ever. so the 4runner got stuck twice once on 3 wheels, and once in quicksand. how do you unstick a toyota? with a nissan!! yep, pulled him out twice, had to yank him hard to get him out of the quicksand.

then later on, around 1am sunday, myself, a stock wrangler and a stock 2wd ranger, both on street tires went out to wheel. well, the jeep got stuck with 2 tires on one side dropped in a rut. someone took my tow strap out of my truck and didnt alert me or put it back. so the jeep was stuck till we got the 4wheeler or my strap from camp. the ranger and jeep peeps didnt know where they were in the park, so paul and i decide to go back to camp and get the stuff, as soon as we are pullin away im thinkin "we shouldnt be alone, we are gonna get stuck and then all of us will be really SOL" well, about 5-10min away i see this stretch of water that i have video footage of me makin it thru with about 6" more water. paul says are you sure you'll make it? i say yea i made it before with more water. so i take off, get 6' and well you guessed it, that was it, so 2am no one knows where we are, no one know where the jeep and ranger are, no one knows we are out wheelin, no one's phone is on. so paul and i spent the next 9hrs in my xterra in a quicksand pit with freezin water up to my doors. and i loved every second of it. paul on the other hand was losin his mind.

why didn't someone stop the guy in the chevy z71 pickup from wrapping the tow strap arround his bumper like that? :in best Homer Simpson voice: "DOH!"

he couldnt get to the frame, there was no choice
