What are you looking for in tires? What do you do with your truck, etc?

I was running swamper LTB's, they are amazing offroad, but suck on pavement.

Now I'm running Dick Cepek Crusher radials. Much better on road, still awesome offroad.

eh im ok with the pattern, For stockers im pretty happy with them. I was surprised to see the truck had bfgs and 10.5" tires just as stock, no complaints

Don't sweat it. It happens. I'm runnin' stock tires right now but I'm due up for a new set in the next 2 months or so. Thinking of going with the Nitto Terra Grappler in a 33" or if I have a job by then, 33" Mickey Thompson MTZ's. I have the 17" rims so rubber doesn't come cheap.

go with a smaller rim......

Can't exactly go for a smaller rim when I'm worried about buying tires first. If I had the money I would have 15"s with dedicated MT's and road friendly tread on my 17"s.

Now I'm running Dick Cepek Crusher radials. Much better on road, still awesome offroad.

Anthony, how do you like Crusher's? Noisy on road? Tread life? Chunking?

I found it was going to be almost the same price to get decent 15" rims with bfg all terrains...17" bfg= $190....15" bfg= $128, these prices were on tirerack.com...at a local store some pretty nice 15" offroad rims were 55 dollars a piece...So if you got different rims then it would be close to the same price but you would also have your stock set for long road trips...just my 2 cents...thats my plan when money gets better. oh and the prices were for 31x10.5" tires, good luck Drake
