I thought that too but if you could look up from under my bumper you would see that there is a big gap between the lower valance bars and the radiator (a good 8-9 inch gap) so i wouldnt be to worried about the engine not getting enough cold air.. plus I plan on having a snorkel in a couple weeks anyway drbandkgb 12-25-2010, 07:37 AM ewww... I just don't think I'll want it their all the time and with your design it's an option for you too... just passing it on sounds intriguing, but how would you make the mount points strong enough for rocks and such (and if you got in a wreck) i feel like if you made the mounting point for hte piece you are taking off a simple hole with a pin, then it wont be very strong clow2688 12-29-2010, 03:49 AM steeze wanna hear your ideas still, i dont want you to think i was shooting you down... i would never do that, i have mad respect for you and your rig (i mean you cut your shit in half for pete's sake!!!) got the bumper back today from my fabber JIM.. he did work, 3 (3/8 inch) steel plates and 80 bucks later, here is the result...
